Online bets are not guaranteed unless the customer receives a confirmation message. However, bets will be valid subject to these Rules if accepted by the Lightspeedsports.com Transaction Server, whether or not you receive the confirmation message. If you have any doubts about whether your bets have been accepted, you should view your list of open bets for verification.

We cannot allow for mistakes or accept responsibility for any errors or omissions in respect of the announcing, publishing or marking of prices or results despite our every effort to ensure total accuracy. We reserve the right to correct obvious errors.

Bets are accepted only on events where Lightspeedsports.com offers prices and all winning bets will be settled at accumulative odds based on the individual prices shown on our Web site coupons. If a bet is accepted that contained a match for which no quotation was made, that match will be treated as a 'non-runner' and the bet will be settled on the remaining selections.

All odds are subject to fluctuation and amendment and are based on the result at full-time. The terms 'full-time', '90 minutes play' and 'normal time' are all used to denote the period of play which includes time added by match officials for stoppages, but not scheduled extra time, penalty shoot-outs etc. Settlement will be at the price prevailing at the time the bet was placed and confirmed.

Dates and kick-off times of events shown on our coupon are for guidance purposes only.

Selections for match betting are indicated by the following convention: symbol '1' to indicate a win for the team shown on the left (home team), 'X' for a draw and '2' to indicate a win for the team shown on the right (away team). In the event of a match being played on neutral ground, the team shown on the left will be regarded as the home side and the team shown on the right as the away side.

Bets will be accepted up to the advertised kick-off time. If a bet is inadvertently accepted which includes a match after its actual kick-off time, the match will be treated as a 'non-runner' and the bet will be settled on the remaining selections.

We reserve the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet or to make ambiguous bets void.

Further account information, balances or answers to queries may be obtained by contacting the Customer Service staff.

Acceptance of Bets

General
Bets are accepted for all sporting events and special events where we specifically advertise acceptance, e.g. Football, Rugby, Cricket, Golf, Formula 1, Boxing, American Football, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, etc., and will be settled in accordance with the particular Rules issued for such events. For any eventuality not covered by particular Rules, the general terms of our Internet betting rules will apply.

Time of Acceptance
If, for any reason, a bet is inadvertently accepted after the event or match has started, the selection(s) affected will be made void.

Minimum Selections
Single match bets are accepted on all football matches. Other sports may have different minimum selection requirements. These will be detailed at the top of each list on our Web site. Bets that do not meet the minimum requirement for a particular list will be void or reduced to include only valid selections. A valid bet consists only of valid matches. Matches already resolved on preceding days will not count as such making up minimum requirements.

Maximum Selections
There is no maximum limit to the number of 'home' or 'away' selections allowed. However the maximum number of draws that can be taken in any one accumulator or combination bet is 5 (except for a Handicap list).

Related Contingencies
Multiple bets are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes to the outcome of another. If taken in error the stakes will be equally divided where there is a clash.

Example:
A $10 Double bet: (A) Chelsea to win by a correct score of 2-0 at odds of 7.00; and (B) to win the same match in 90 mins at odds of 2.25. This will be settled as two $5 Single bets.

However, where the related parts of the bet are resolved at different times, the bet will be settled as instructed with the price for the second or subsequent legs being determined at each individual stage.

Example:
A $10 Double bet: (A) Chelsea to win the F.A. Cup Semi-Final in 90 mins at odds of 2.00; and Chelsea to win the F.A. Cup outright. This bet will be settled as a $10 Double bet: (A) Chelsea to win Semi-Final at odds of 2.00; and (B) Chelsea to win outright at the odds on offer after winning the Semi-Final. In the event of Chelsea losing either the Semi-Final or Final, the bet is lost.

Ante Post Betting (Future Bets)
Ante Post bets are accepted all in, run or not run, entered or not entered. With the exception of outright bets on golf tournaments, stakes are lost on an Ante Post bet if a selection does not take part. No Tattersalls' Rule 4 deductions are made from winning bets.

Ante Post bets are settled at the price and terms applicable at the time of acceptance. Should a wrong price or term be given in error we reserve the right to settle the bet at the correct price/terms that were available at the time the bet was struck.

Where the same selection is backed to win two or more Ante Post events in an accumulative bet, a special combined price will apply irrespective of any individual odds quoted.

Results

Maximum Winnings
A bet is accepted on the basis that it is the investment of one customer only. The maximum amount that can be won (excluding stake) by one customer in one day's betting, regardless of stake, is US$ 75,000 or its equivalent.

Postponed or Abandoned Matches
An unplayed, postponed or abandoned match will be treated as a 'non-runner' for settling purposes unless it is played during the same 'football week' (Monday - Monday (GST/BST)), in which case the bet will stand unless cancelled by mutual consent. If 'non-runners' reduce an accumulator, the bet will be settled on the remaining selections. Under no circumstances will the judgement of any 'Pools Panel' be accepted as a result.

Any match that is abandoned before the completion of 90 minutes play will be void and count as a non-runner. This ruling applies to all lists with the exception of bets involving 'First Player to Score', or 'Time of First Goal', where bets will stand provided a goal has been scored at the time of abandonment.

To include the term 'regular playing time', because some games last 95 or 92 minutes, and that is sometimes a so-called 'overtime', when there is a supplement time the match is a draw.

Re-Arranged Matches
In the event of a change of venue not being known to us, bets will stand provided the venue is not switched to the opponents' ground, in which case selections for that match will be made void.

If a team plays a different opponent than the one stated on the coupon, that selection will be void and the bet will be settled on the remaining selections in the bet.

Handicap List
For the purposes of deciding results on a Handicap List, a number of goals (or half-goals) is added to, or subtracted from, the total goals scored by the team indicated. Settlement on the Handicap List will be at the special odds shown alongside its matches, using the actual score in the match adjusted for the 'handicap'. The maximum selection rule of 5 draws does not apply to this list.

Double Result (Half Time/Full Time or 45/90 Betting)
Bets predicting the Double Result must indicate the result at both Half-Time and Full-Time.

Half Time Coupon
Bets must indicate the result at Half-Time. Settlement will be based on the odds shown on our half-time coupon. Matches abandoned after half-time will not affect settlement of half-time coupon bets. The term '45 minutes play' denotes the period of play up to Half Time, including injury time.

First / Last Player to Score / Player to Score in 90 mins.
Every effort will be made to quote 'First/Last Player to Score' and 'Player to Score in 90 mins' odds for all possible participants. However, other players will count as winners should they score. Bets on players not taking part in the match will be void as will bets on 'first player to score' where the selection comes on after the first goal is scored. All players that take part in a match will be considered 'runners' for last player to score and player to score in 90 mins purposes.

In the event of a dispute over the award of a goal for first / last scorer betting purposes, settlement will be based on the goalscorer listed in the results section in each of the British national newspapers (including the Racing Post) and decided by a majority verdict. In the case of a Saturday match, the Sunday national newspapers, plus the following Monday's Racing Post will determine the result. Settlement will be based on final editions and where a newspaper does not include a goalscorer in its results section, it will not count towards the majority verdict.

If the results sections of the British national newspapers does not contain the names of the goalscorers for matches outside the UK, then settlement will be based on information obtained from the national newspapers of the relevant country.

Outright Betting
Where odds for OUTRIGHT win as well as 90 MINUTES play are offered in Cup Finals, etc., unless 'to win outright' or a qualifying price has been selected, all bets are settled on 90 minutes play or the regular playing time.

Divisional Betting
In divisional betting, the finishing position of teams at the end of the scheduled programme of matches will determine placings with no allowance for play-offs or subsequent inquiries by the respective leagues.

Correct Scores
Bets must predict the score at the end of normal time and will be available on selected matches. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not count.

Normal Time
WINNERS AND LOSERS ARE OFFICIAL AFTER:

American Football (College-Pro) 55 minutes of play
Basketball (Pro) 43 minutes of play
Ice Hockey 35 minutes of play
Rugby 80 minutes of play
Golf 54 Holes
Football 90 minutes of play

Other Sports:
All other contests that involve a schedule length of play or time limit must play to their conclusion or have five or less minutes of the scheduled playing time remaining when the contest concludes to be considered official for betting purposes. In many sports when a winner is declared, that will be the length of the competition.

Boxing (Pro, College and Amateur):
When the bell is sounded signifying the start of the opening round, the bout is considered official for wagering purposes. If the bout is officially stopped prior to the bell, that round is not considered a full round.

Baseball:
Winners and losers are official after 5 innings of play. If the home team is leading, the game is official after 4½ innings. Thereafter, if a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called.

When betting on the total runs, the game must go 9 innings (8½ if the home team is ahead) to have 'Action'. Thereafter, if a game is called or suspended the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning in which case the score is determined by the score at the time the game is called.

The listed starting pitchers must start or there is 'No Action' unless 'Action' is specified. 1) A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after delivering the first pitch of the game for his team. 2) In the event of a pitching change prior to the game, the price may change. 3) Any bets marked 'Action' on a team or just one pitcher, if that pitcher is still listed, will be computed on the opening price with the new pitcher listed. 4) Baseball tickets will be marked as follows: Action bet - Team against team regardless of the starting pitcher. Listed pitcher-both starting pitchers are specified. If the pitchers are not exactly as named, the bet constitutes 'No Action'.

Baseball Propositions:
For wagers on Total Hits + Runs + Errors in the game, both starting pitchers must go for action. Game must go 8 1⁄2 innings if home team is winning, or 9 innings if road team is winning for action. Extra innings counts. If a game goes past 9 innings and is not completed, no action.

For wagers on Team to score first and a Run scored in the first inning, both starting pitchers must go for action.

For wagers on Total Bases Matchups, Single=1base, Double=2bs, Triple=3bs, HR=4bs, Hits Only. Both players + starting pitchers must start for action.

Settlement of Bets
Bets are settled according to the displayed odds/prices at the time the bet is confirmed.

In a DEAD HEAT the stake money on a selection is divided by the number of runners involved in the dead heat. The full odds are then paid to the divided stake, with the remainder of the stake money being lost.

> Where a selection is made void, then: in Single bets the stake will be returned; in Accumulative/Combination bets, the stake will run on to the remaining selection(s) with a Double becoming a Single, a Treble becoming a Double, etc.

Evidence of Rigging
Where there is evidence of Price, Race, Match or Event rigging, we reserve the right to make bets void or withhold payment of returns pending the outcome of any subsequent investigation.

Where evidence of rigging exists or where there is evidence of a series of bets containing the same selection(s) having been placed by or for the same individual or syndicate of individuals, we reserve the right to require claims for payment to be submitted in writing to our Customer Relations Department at: Curaçao.

Claims and Disputes
No claim or dispute will be considered more than 30 days after the date of the original transaction.

In the first instance, all claims/disputes should be raised with our Customer Service Department. In the event of our Customer Service representatives being unable to resolve your dispute, it may be submitted to a mutually acceptable recognised body for arbitration and their decision will be final so long as the full facts are presented by all of the parties concerned.
